Description
Hyde Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, which has been altered and encased in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and encasing, topped with a thatch roof covered by a corrugated iron lean-to. The building is two storeys high and has three bays on a plinth, with lean-tos at the rear and on one end. The front of the farmhouse has the left-hand bay with exposed framing, while the rest is encased. There is a central top-glazed door and 19th-century three-light casement windows. The farmhouse has end stacks and boxed wide eaves.
