Description
This is a wall located on the north boundary of the farmyard, 75 meters north of Rockbourne Manor House. It dates from the 18th and 19th centuries and is made of rendered cob on a flint and brick plinth, with some brick rebuilding and a tile coping. The wall is approximately 150 meters long, extending from 50 meters northwest of the Manor House to 150 meters northeast of it. About halfway along, there is an entrance into the farmyard, marked by brick piers. The wall stands between 2 and 3 meters high, and at its far end, it serves as the rear wall of 19th-century cattle sheds.
