The Green Cottage is an 18th-century house, although it has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is characterised by rendered and brick walls and a tiled roof. The building is one storey high with an attic, and has two or three windows. It features hipped dormers, added in the late 20th century, along with more recent casement windows and a glazed door.
