Description

Well House is a mid-19th century structure located at the south end of the forecourt wall. It is a square block that is open on the north side and features a pyramid red tile roof with brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of red broken brick with flush stone bands, and above these, there are diaper patterns created with blue headers. The south side has two 4-cusp openings in stone that are connected to the upper stone band. The north side includes a timber frame supporting a square opening that is arch braced. The east side is buttressed and there is a metal weathercock on the roof.
