Description

The Church of St Peter features a Norman nave and an Early English chancel, with a south aisle dating from the 14th century and a north porch from the 15th century. The building has rendered walls with stone quoins, lancet windows, coupled traceried lights, and a blocked Saxon window. The north porch is timber-framed and remains intact. The west tower is also timber-framed, with brick nogging at the lower level, which is intact. The church suffered significant damage from a fire in May 1979.
