Description
Yateley Hall's stable block, built in the 18th century, is a symmetrical structure featuring a short two-storey center flanked by longer one-storey wings that extend back from a high front wall with three bays. The two-storey facade has a slightly recessed center topped with a low-pitched gable. It includes a semicircular recess with pigeon holes and a modern window above a roof that covers a modern forward projection. The sides of the building have large semicircular recesses at the upper level, a first-floor band, and semicircular windows below, with one window attached. At the rear, the three sections have red tile roofs that are hipped on the wings and half-hipped on the center. The semicircular windows are also found on the sides, with three on each side, although some alterations have been made. The shorter center section creates a paved courtyard with two wide openings beneath cambered arches and a hay-loft door above.
