Description
Yateley Hall is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. The west front features a central section with three windows and two dormers, flanked by slightly projecting wings, each with one window. To the north, there is an addition that originally had three windows, but only the central one remains. The roof is hipped and covered with red tiles, and there are large, panelled brick chimneys. The dormer gables have pediment mouldings, and there is a modillion cornice. The walls are constructed in Flemish bond brickwork, combining red bricks with blue headers, and feature Dutch flat arches and a projecting first-floor band. The windows are sash types set in exposed frames. The entrance is located in the south wing, accessed through a glazed double door that leads into a panelled hallway. To the north, an old wall is incorporated into a modernised range. The east elevation is irregular due to recent changes, but retains similar main features. Part of the medieval moat still survives on this side of the building, and there are modern extensions designed to match the original style.
