Description

Bottom Farm House is a 17th century building with early 19th century modifications, located in Hazeley Bottom, Mattingley. The house has several stages of construction, highlighted by a projecting gabled wing on the north side. It is two storeys tall and features five windows. The roofing is made of red tiles, with a whip over the oldest gable. The walls are primarily red brick, while the upper part of the eastern rear block is timber-framed. The ground-floor openings are cambered, and the windows are casements, including some with early 19th century metal frames. The doorways have solid frames, and the current entrance is topped with a large flat canopy supported by posts.
