Description

Hazeley Cottage is an 18th-century building, originally two dwellings, now combined into one. It is located in Hazeley Bottom, Mattingley. The cottage has two storeys and originally had two windows, now featuring a projecting gabled wing on the east side. The roof is tiled and half-hipped. The walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with cambered ground-floor openings and a plinth. Gable ends have exposed timber framing. The windows are modern casements. A large timber-framed porch with a gabled extension supported on curved brackets is a notable feature.
