Description

Little Rye House is a 16th-century, two-storey timber-framed building featuring a gabled cross wing at the west end and a modern single-storey outshot. The roof is covered with red tiles and has a half-hipped design at the east end. The timber framing is visible both internally and externally, with the spaces filled in with painted brickwork. There is a shafted stack above a large internal chimney breast. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door.
