Description
The piers and front railings date from around 1847 and are located in front of the Commandant's House, which was part of the former Forton barracks. They are constructed from brick with stone dressings and cast-iron elements. The structure features two pairs of piers that have stone bands and caps, connected by a central dwarf wall topped with spear-headed railings. The total length of the railings extends approximately 30 meters.
