Description

The bridge, located 30 yards south of Alverbank, dates from around 1846 and serves as the approach to Alverbank, crossing a moat. It is a deep red brick structure featuring a small arch. The bridge has stone coping along the parapet and stone caps on the end piers, which are adorned with simple Gothic panels. The parapet wall is designed to meet the diagonally placed pier.
