Description
Down End Cottages is a terrace of three cottages dating from the 19th century, positioned at right angles to the road. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with chimneys that have cornices. The eastern facade has a northern bay that is advanced under a gable, while the western facade displays three gables. The cottages are two storeys high and each facade has three windows, which are casements with latticed glazing. There are also blind rectangular vents in the gable ends. Located at a corner position, the eastern facade faces Paradise Lane. Down End Cottages form a group.
