Description
This is an 18th-century cottage located on Catisfield Lane. The western garden facade is constructed of red brick with grey headers, originally painted. It has a slate roof and two storeys. The facade features three windows on each of the two floors, arranged in a two-bay configuration with curved sides and canted fronts of three windows each. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A semi-circular porch is present. Venetian shutters are fitted to the central window above the ground floor. The side facade, which faces the street, is three and two-and-a-half storeys high, with four windows, sash windows with glazing bars. This section is built of red brick and has an old tiled hipped roof. The rear of the building exhibits three tile-hung gables, rising to two and two-and-a-half storeys.
