Description
This is an early 19th century row of cottages located on Bridge Street, Titchfield. Number 2 has a rendered facade and a slate roof, which is hipped at the south end. It is two storeys high with three windows, featuring sashes with late 19th century glazing and labels above the ground floor windows. A central, gabled wooden porch is present. Numbers 4 to 10 (even) adjoin. These cottages have a rendered facade and an old tiled roof. Numbers 4 and 6 each have one window, with sashes and late 19th century glazing, though the ground floor of Number 4 features modern glazing. Number 10 has two windows, constructed as early 19th century reproductions, and a side door with a reproduction pediment. The cottages are said to have originally served as a store for a nearby brewery. Numbers 3 and a barn are part of a group of buildings of local interest, alongside numbers 2 to 14 (even), 28 and 30, and 34 to 38 (even).
