Description

No. 3 Bridge Street is an 18th-century building with a rendered facade, featuring a coped parapet and an old tiled roof. It is adjacent to No. 2 Coach Hill. The structure has two hipped gable ends behind the parapet and a large chimney. It stands two storeys high with three windows across two bays, each fitted with late 19th-century sash windows, while the centre of the first floor is blank. The doorway is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, and a semi-circular fanlight that has Gothick glazing bars. The end facade has three windows, mostly barred casements, which are irregularly placed. No. 3 and the barn form a group with Nos 2 to 14 (even), Nos 28 and 30, and Nos 34 to 38 (even), all of which are buildings of local interest.
