Description
Arnside Cottage is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates back to the 16th century and features a timber frame with some minor 20th-century extensions. The building has an exposed frame with painted brick infill, some rendered infill, and painted flint walls with brick dressings. There are also areas of rendered walling and a boarded outshot on the north side, as well as a gable on the upper south side. The roof is half-hipped thatch with a catslide at the rear, which includes a wide 'eyebrow' that has three dormer windows separated by boarding. The west front is two storeys high with four windows above three. The windows are 20th-century casements. The entrance to No 132 features a central boarded door in a plain frame, while the entrance to No 133 is located in the north end outshot.
