Description
Lenten House is an early 19th-century building located on Lenten Street. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a stuccoed exterior and a slate roof. The ground floor features two recessed sash windows and a mid-19th-century doorcase that has a dentilled cornice supported by heavy consoles. There is a broad band at the first-floor level, which includes a central blank window flanked by a single recessed sash window on either side. Lenten House is part of a group that includes Nos 6 to 14 (even), Nos 16A, 11 and 13, Nos 13A, 15 (at the rear), 15A, 17, No 21, No 23 (Weybourne House), and No 25 (William Curtis House) opposite.
