Description

This is a row of six houses, numbered 6 to 14, located on the south side of Lenten Street. They were built in the early 19th century and are two storeys high, with each house two bays wide. The houses are stuccoed and visually separated by broad pilaster strips, which, along with decorative bands at both the ground floor and eaves levels, create a grid pattern. Simple doors and sash windows are set within this grid. Houses 6 to 10 have tiled roofs, while numbers 12 and 14 have slate roofs. The houses, along with numbers 16 (Lenten House), 16A, 11, 13, 13A, 15 (at the rear), 15A, 17, 21, 23 (Weybourne House), and 25 (William Curtis House) opposite, form a notable group.
