Description
The presbytery attached to the Church of the Holy Ghost was built in 1902. It is constructed of red brick in stretcher bond with ashlar dressings and features a Roman tile roof with a brick chimney. The building has two storeys and an attic in part, with a three-bay west elevation. The ground floor and attic have square-headed cross windows, while the first-floor windows feature cusped heads and pointed-arched surrounds. There are continuous hoodmoulds and a cill string at the first floor, along with corbelled eaves. The west elevation includes a pointed-arched entrance to an internal porch situated between the left-hand bays. The right bay projects slightly and has a gable with an attic storey, featuring a six-light ground-floor window with cusped-headed lights and a gable cross. The right return has four bays designed in the same style. The rear of the building is plainer and has undergone some window alterations.
