This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located 20 yards north-east of a house in Old Basing. It is a timber-framed structure consisting of seven bays and features a west aisle with a central entrance on the east side. The barn has a Queen Post truss and a corrugated iron roof that is half-hipped at the ends and has a full hip over the entrance. The walls are weather-boarded, and there are modern outshots. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby house.
