Description

The barn and cartshed located 20 yards north of the farmhouse at Tile Barn Farm date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The structure features an eleven-bay timber frame with an aisle on the east side and entrances located at the second and seventh bays. At the north end, there is a 5-bay timber-framed cartshed that includes a narrow west aisle. The barn roof is made of corrugated iron and is half-hipped at the ends, with hipped tile roofing above the entrances at the seventh bay and above the cartshed. The walls are weather-boarded, with the cartshed being open on the east side and clad elsewhere with concrete blocks.
