Description
Beech Farm Cottages is a 16th and 17th century hall type medieval house featuring end cross wings with two storeys. The front elevation, facing north, has been raised in the center at a later date to create a two-storey appearance with three windows. The roof is tiled, with a catslide at the center-rear and gables on the front of the wings, while the rear has hips. The east and north sides display exposed timber-framing, with the ground-floor wall below former jetties, and there is red brick infill and other walling. The windows are casements, including one small old light, and there are plain doors at the rear.
