Description

This is a 17th, 19th, and 20th-century timber-framed farmhouse situated on Swan Street in Kingsclere. The house is two stories high and originally had two windows. It has a half-nipped tile roof and a large, tapered brick stack at the west end. The front (north) elevation has been clad, but the east gable retains exposed timber framing. The windows are a mix of modern casements and two Victorian sash windows on the ground floor. A plain doorway is present. The walls are rendered with cement. The building has group value context.
