Description

This is a table tomb made of stone, located 5 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter in St Mary Bourne. It features an inscription that refers to John Longman, who died on April 8, 1802. The cover slab has a square edge and is set above a moulding. The corners of the tomb are adorned with pilasters that have moulded caps and bases, along with short tapered scalloped sides. The sides of the tomb include oval panels that contain inscriptions.
