Description

The Pineapple Public House is an 18th-century building located in Ashford Hill, Kingsclere. It features a symmetrical front on the north side, consisting of one storey and an attic with four windows. The half-hipped thatched roof has exposed framing in the gables and an eyebrow dormer positioned in the center. The walls are made of painted brick, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are casements. Above an old doorframe, there is a modern gabled and tiled canopy, which shelters a boarded door. The building also has later extensions at the rear.
