Description

Chasewood Cottage is an ornamental cottage located on the Eridge Castle Estate, dating from around 1825. The architect is likely John Montier of Tunbridge Wells. The cottage is two storeys high and originally features two windows. It is faced with imitation timbering set on a stone base and has a tiled roof. The windows are casement style, and there are two small gables along with a gabled porch. A late 19th-century addition at the north end includes one window bay, which is faced in painted brick and has a gable above it.
