Description

Frant Bottom Lodge, located in the grounds of Eridge Castle, dates from around 1825 and is likely designed by the architect John Montier from Tunbridge Wells. This two-storey building features two windows. The ground floor is constructed of rusticated stone, while the upper floor has imitation timbering adorned with intricate decorative plasterwork. The north-west end of the first floor extends out on elaborate brackets. The gabled ends are decorated with ornate carved bargeboards, pendants, and finials. Additionally, there are two corbel heads and the letter "A" representing the Abergavenny Estate.
