Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a T-shaped building dating from the 15th century. It features timber framing that has been refaced with red brick on the ground floor, while the upper part is tile-hung. The rear of the building retains some exposed timbering and close-studding. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered with tiles. The cottage has casement windows and a single doorway with double doors made of six fielded panels. At the back, there is a brick chimney breast. The building has two storeys and four windows in total. Number 3 Yew Tree Cottage includes an 18th-century addition that adds one window bay in red brick.
