Description

The garden wall and gate piers at Pekes House, located to the southeast of the house, date from the 18th century. The garden is enclosed by a red brick wall, which features central brick gate-piers topped with ball caps. These gate-piers frame wrought iron double gates with an overthrow. On either side of the central gateway, there are smaller, similar piers that flank oval openings in the wall, which are adorned with wrought iron scrolls.
