Description

The former main entrance gates of Pekes House are located to the north-west of the house. They consist of a pair of wrought iron crested gates set within red brick gate-piers that are topped with ball caps. These gates are flanked by a red brick wall that features elliptical pedestrian archways, which have similar small gate-piers on their outer sides. Beyond these archways, there is a curved wall leading to additional dwarf piers. This entrance is likely from the 18th or 19th century.
