Description
Peppering Eye Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed house that was enlarged in the 17th and 18th centuries. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows and two dormers. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the upper storey is tile hung, with a trace of a bressummer visible between the two levels. The south front showcases two hipped dormers, while the north front has two projecting wings with gables that feature imitation timbering. These wings are connected by a ground floor addition. The farmhouse has a tiled roof and casement windows with diamond-shaped or small square leaded panes. The 18th-century doorway has a door with six fielded panels, and the interior includes ceiling beams.
