Description
This is a 17th-century, L-shaped timber-framed house located in Etchingham. The original structure has plaster infilling between the timber framing and sits upon a brick base. The roof is hipped and covered in tiles, with two tall red brick chimneys. The front facade features two modern windows on each floor, in the locations of the original windows, with two additional modern windows on the ground floor. Three flat stuccoed bays are present on the first floor. The doorway is distinguished by fluted pilasters and a projecting cornice. A later L-shaped wing extends to the south and is constructed of stone, red brick, and tile-hanging.
