Description

Fontridge Manor is a timber-framed building dating from around 1600, which has been altered and refaced in the 18th century and enlarged since then. It has two storeys and features a south front designed in a half-H plan, with a later addition forming the south-west wing. The facade includes four windows, with the ground floor constructed of red brick above tile-hung sections. The projecting wings have gables, and the windows are casement style. There is a doorway with a flat hood above, a rectangular fanlight, and a door made of six fielded panels. The east wing, which has four windows, is an addition from the 19th century or later.
