Description

Franchise Lodge is the gatehouse for Franchise Manor, built in the early to mid-19th century. It is a single-storey structure featuring two windows and is finished in stucco. The building has long and short quoins, an eaves cornice, and a slate roof. The windows are casement style with latticed panes. A gabled porch with a finial at the top leads to a round-headed doorway that includes a semicircular fanlight.
