Sidegate Cottage is a timber-framed cottage that has been restored, refaced, and likely enlarged. It stands two storeys tall and features five windows. The exterior is now faced with painted brick, although two upright timbers remain exposed. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there is a casement window. A modern porch has been added to the entrance.
