The original portion is a C17 timber-framed building. Its south front is weatherboarded. Casement windows. Half-hipped gable to the south wing. The north front has been refaced or added in the C18. Two storeys and attic. Five windows. Four gabled dormers. Red brick and grey headers alternately. Stuccoed stringcourse. Eaves cornice. Hipped tiled roof. Glazing bars intact. Doorway with fluted Doric pilasters, narrow sidelights flanked by similar pilasters, curved pediment and door of six fielded panels, all reset in a shallow modern porch. Modern matching wing of four windows projecting to north-east.
