Description

The wall and gate piers adjoining the stables at Newick Park are an 18th-century ornamental screen wall designed to conceal farm buildings from the house and stables. The wall is curved and constructed in Flemish bond with vitrified headers and features a stone coping. It includes two blank round-headed arches. To the left, there are two additional curved sections of wall, each with blank round-headed arches that have impost blocks, along with four square gate piers that have stone quoins. The wall extends for about another 25 feet, ending with one blank arch.
