Description
Nos 17 and 19 The Bourne is an early 19th-century building constructed of yellow stock brick with stuccoed quoins and cill bands, featuring a rusticated stucco ground floor. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has wide eaves. The building stands three storeys tall and has three windows. The first and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath cambered brick arches, with the cill of the left window on the first floor raised. The ground floor includes two modern public house windows and a flush panelled door to the left, which has a rectangular fanlight above it. The rear of the building is gabled and has been refaced in modern red brick. Originally a public house, it is now used as offices.
