Description
The Little Deanery is a cottage that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It stands two storeys high with a cellar and features a timber frame construction. The north-west front is rough cast, and the building has an old tile roof that is half hipped to the north-east, flanking chimneys. The north-west front consists of four bays with large two-light sliding wood casements, where each light has three panes wide and four panes high. The right-hand ground floor bay is a small rectangular bay with similar glazing. There is a door located in an arched lattice porch with a flat roof, roughly at the centre of the front. The north-east side of the building has exposed timber framing. Inside, most of the timber frames are visible, with diagonal bracing present in the flank walls.
