Description
Nos 9 to 14 on Gloucester Place are a sequence of three pairs of cottages or villas built around 1830. These two-storey buildings are constructed of stock brick and feature hipped slate roofs. Each building has one window on the front, with three arranged symmetrically and doors located to the sides. The windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes, and the doors are panelled with semi-circular fanlights above. Number 14 has a rectangular bay that projects from the ground floor, made of stock brick with stone quoins, a bed mould to the frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course, and it contains one window. There is a plain stable wing at the rear. Nos 3 to 16 on Gloucester Place form a group with these buildings.
