Description

Savile House is a building located on Slough Road, dating from 1603-1604. It was altered and rebuilt after being partially destroyed by bombing during the Second World War. The main surviving original elements are the red brick street wall and a southwest section of the house. Careful restoration and reconstruction have preserved much of the early character of the house. Savile House is part of a group that includes No 2 Westons, Westons, and Wall Cottage.
