Description
Nos. 15 and 16 on High Street are mid to late 18th century buildings that have been rebuilt on the ground floor. They are two storeys tall with attics, featuring a stucco upper part and a brick ground floor. The roof is made of old tiles and includes two small dormers. The buildings have three windows and false windows, all with glazing bar sashes, and a modern shop front.
No. 17, also from the mid to late 18th century, was altered in the early 19th century. It is three storeys high, faced with stucco and topped with a parapet coping and a slate roof. The upper floors have two windows with glazing bar sashes and a modern shop front.
These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 4, 4a, 5 to 9, 9A, and 10 to 26, as well as the Dairy Pavilion in the garden of No. 7 and Mistress Pages House.
