Description

Nos 15 and 16 Gloucester Place are a pair of two-storey buildings dating to circa 1831-1835. They share a style with the nearby Adelaide Terrace. The facades are faced with Roman cement, and feature a cornice and blocking raised in a shallow, pedimental form. The front has three windows, with the central window being blind. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The paired entrances are round-arched and recessed, with pilasters flanking them and a bed mould to the frieze and cornice above. The doors consist of six fielded panels, each with a radially glazed semi-circular fanlight above. Nos 3 to 16 Gloucester Place form a group.
