Description
The cattle shelter at Stroud Farm, located approximately 50 metres north-west of Stroud Farmhouse, is a structure from the 17th century or earlier that has been repurposed as an implement shed. It features a timber frame, with part of the exterior weatherboarded and a hipped roof made of corrugated iron. The building has a long rectangular shape consisting of seven framed bays, with a later low aisle added on the north-west side and an open front facing south-east. Inside, the shelter has a queen strut roof, clasped purlins, and tie beams positioned at a low level.
