Description
The stable block at Hall Place, located on the northeast side, is a part of a former stable block dating from the 18th century, currently used for storage. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a low-pitched slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with an arched coachway at the center leading to the former stable yard. It stands two storeys tall and has chimneys on both the left and right sides, each with offset heads and clay pots. The east front is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a plinth, a blocking course, and a moulded cornice that curves around corner pilasters. At the center, there is a wooden clock and bell tower adorned with a moulded cornice. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, keystones, and gauged brick arches. A large round central brick arch with stone imposts and a later keystone adds to the architectural detail.
