Description

The Whistler Tomb, located 3 metres south of the south door to the chancel, is a 18th-century stone table tomb. It has a rectangular shape with a roll moulded edge on the top and urn corners at the base. The south side panel features an inscription dedicated to Whistler, who died in 1708, framed by cherubs in an oval design.
