Description
The Old Malthouse is a former malthouse that has been converted into three cottages, dating from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and features an old tile roof that is half hipped to the left. The building has two gabled dormers in the left wing at the rear. It has an end stack to the right, a central ridge stack, and another central ridge stack on the left wing at the rear. The structure is L-shaped, with two storeys and one and a half storeys.
The windows are leaded casements, with four on the first floor and four on the ground floor, all having segmental heads. There is a six-panelled door with a segmental head located between the first and second windows from the left, along with a central doorway that is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. Additionally, there is one ground floor casement window in the left wing at the rear.
