Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the east side of The Street in Aldermaston. It is constructed of red brick with toothed eaves, and has an old tile roof that is hipped to the right, with an end stack to the left and a ridge stack on a wing to the rear. The house is laid out in an L-shape. It has two storeys, featuring leaded casement windows. The first floor has a single-light window in the centre, flanked by two three-light windows. The central entrance is a six-panelled door, set within a 20th-century porch, flanked by three-light casements, the left one with a segmental head.
