Description

The Butler Tomb, located approximately 6 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. Lawrence, is a chest tomb dating from around 1773. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and top. The tomb has two fielded panels on the sides and one at each end. It is inscribed in memory of William Butler, who passed away on June 22, 1773, at the age of 57.
